Los MTV Video Music Awards 2025 (VMAs) se entregaron el domingo por la noche en el UBS Arena de Elmont, Nueva York, con la conducci\u00f3n de LL Cool J y transmisi\u00f3n en simult\u00e1neo por MTV, CBS y Paramount+.<\/p>\n

La gran vencedora de la noche fue Lady Gaga, quien obtuvo cuatro estatuillas, incluido el premio a Artista del A\u00f1o. La cantante aprovech\u00f3 su discurso para referirse a los problemas de salud que la obligaron a cancelar un show en Miami, antes de trasladarse a su presentaci\u00f3n en el Madison Square Garden. Desde all\u00ed, los VMAs transmitieron en vivo sus interpretaciones de Abracadabra<\/strong> y The Dead Dance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Ariana Grande gan\u00f3 el m\u00e1ximo galard\u00f3n de la velada con Video del A\u00f1o por Brighter Days Ahead<\/strong>, y acumul\u00f3 un total de tres premios. Sabrina Carpenter tambi\u00e9n alcanz\u00f3 tres reconocimientos, destac\u00e1ndose con el \u00c1lbum del A\u00f1o por Short n\u2019 Sweet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Entre los momentos m\u00e1s resonantes se cont\u00f3 la victoria de Ros\u00e9 junto a Bruno Mars en Canci\u00f3n del A\u00f1o con APT.<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de obtener junto a Gaga el premio a Mejor Colaboraci\u00f3n por Die With a Smile<\/strong>. El grupo KATSEYE se alz\u00f3 con el MTV Push Performance del A\u00f1o gracias a Touch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

La ceremonia tambi\u00e9n incluy\u00f3 reconocimientos especiales: Mariah Carey recibi\u00f3 el Video Vanguard Award, Busta Rhymes el primer Rock the Bells Visionary Award, y Ricky Martin fue distinguido con el Latin Icon Award. Todos ellos ofrecieron actuaciones en vivo que se convirtieron en puntos altos de la transmisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Los VMAs 2025 incorporaron este a\u00f1o dos nuevas categor\u00edas: Mejor Artista Pop y Mejor Video Country, ampliando el alcance de los premios hacia g\u00e9neros en expansi\u00f3n dentro de la industria musical.<\/p>\n

La producci\u00f3n de la gala estuvo a cargo de Van Toffler, exdirectivo de MTV, y su compa\u00f1\u00eda Gunpowder & Sky, junto a Den of Thieves.<\/p>\n
