Estamos hablando del <strong>boniato <\/strong>que, seg\u00fan el nutricionista Michael Greger, ha sido elegido para futuras misiones espaciales por su composici\u00f3n nutricional.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"voc-paragraph\">El boniato contiene una gran variedad de vitaminas y minerales como el potasio, el f\u00f3sforo o el calcio, siendo adem\u00e1s una fuente importante de vitamina A, B y C. Rico en fibra y en antioxidantes, tambi\u00e9n es <strong>una espectacular fuente de energ\u00eda<\/strong> por su riqueza en hidratos de carbono. <\/p>\n<p class=\"voc-paragraph\">Pero no s\u00f3lo eso, sino que adem\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n c<br \/>\n<strong>uida la salud ocular <\/strong>gracias a su contenido en un grupo espec\u00edfico de antioxidantes conocidos como antocianinas que son beneficiosos para los ojos. Tambi\u00e9n tiene <strong>betacarotenos<\/strong>, los responsables del color anaranjado de los alimentos, que son unos aliados muy valiosos para evitar la degeneraci\u00f3n macular y las cataratas. <\/p>\n<p class=\"voc-paragraph\">Por otro lado, algunas investigaciones han probado que el consumo de boniato <strong>mejora la regulaci\u00f3n del az\u00facar en sangre <\/strong>y ser\u00eda beneficioso para las personas con diabetes tipo 2.
